Linda has done a lot of work for the community.
Working with preschool children, telling stories as painting the story.....
Painting on the windows of the kindergarten...
This window was from a song called "Six White Boomers", Australiana...kangaroos instead of deer.
Nativity painting on the windows of the kindergarten...
Linda also painted the Easter theme last year and often goes there for a couple of hours to teach the children as to how an artist works outside of a studio.
The windows are around 10 feet wide and 5 feet deep, in acrylics
The making of banners for the Tunarama Festival, held anually.....
These banners are 6 feet long and three feet wide...painted in special acrylics and then baked.
There were several artists helping out. Linda was the artist in residence meaning overseeing the totals etc. Plus it was Linda's name that was on the list for grants...
Examples of some of the silk paintings. These banners have been used for the last four years and are quite a showing when on display...
Leafy See Dragon Tuna Fish
Painting T-Shirts and banners for the ladies of the Dragon Boat Crew. (20 T's and 3 banners.)
These ladies raise monies for the Cancer organization and prevention and recovery plans.
